We are a seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT) Project Manager  to be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring activities of multiple project teams involved in the analysis, design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of IT initiatives. This person will collaborate with others to define project scope and objectives, identify required skills and resources for the project team, develop detailed work plans, and provide project status at multiple levels of management. He/she will possess the ability to quickly understand the business challenges and communicate these to the technical team. In addition, anticipate and identify project issues and risks, recommend solutions, and work with senior management to maintain project success. Involved in many aspects of the business including IT infrastructure, requirements, application development, security and compliance, business processes, organizational change, and operational support. Works independently. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

• Serve as Project Manager setting team priorities
• Be familiar with Agile learning and methodologies
• Track and manage cost, schedule, performance, and risk for multiple projects
• Create PM artifacts as necessary
• Provide and perform quality assurance checks on project artifacts and deliverables
• Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department
• Oversee all aspects of projects - Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project
• Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects
• Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project
• Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
• Design, plan, and coordinate application systems and programming work teams
• Provide technical support to project team members
• Handle complex application features and technical designs
• Design and implement the components required for complex application features
• Lead and direct the work of others

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline
• Required Knowledge/Experience:
  • Experience with Windchill Project Link, PDMLink, configuration and change management
  • Experience with Atlassian / Jira / Confluence
  • 3+ years of project management experience (PMP certification a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience managing software / application development projects
  • 3+ years overall IT experience with significant experience in software development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Office. Demonstrated expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures

• Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
  • DoD experience is a plus
  • Experience in other Product Data Management systems
    
  • 2+ experience working in an Agile environment
  • 3+ years Agile / Scrum experience
  • Experience with both traditional waterfall software development processes and Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Experience managing projects with a variety of technologies, platforms and development languages (AS400, Java, .NET, etc.) a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
  • Ability to interface with executives and stakeholders regarding issues of project scope and status
  • Ability to facilitate productive meetings and drive outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, determine appropriate actions and complete projects with minimal direction
