TACG if seeking a Supply Chain Functional Analyst to work as a liaison between technical teams and business owners and provide subject matter expertise of Air Force/DoD Supply Chain to support various initiatives. This will include the use of Logistics system knowledge and research capability to analyze Logistics business areas ranging from Logistics Planning/Systems (Logistics Module (LOGMOD), Logistics Feasibility Analysis Capability (LOGFAC), etc.), Supply (Stock Control System (SCS), Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S), Requirements Management System (RMS), etc.), Transportation (Cargo Movement Operations System (CMOS), Logistics Tool Suite (LTS), etc.).

This position reports to the Program Director and is remote.

• Use logistics and system knowledge to guide SMEs to provide accurate information and level of detail required
• Identify capability gaps between current and desired processes and updates process flows to the To-Be business processes
• Identify critical information exchanges with internal and external trading partners
• Interprets the function of external Trading Partner interfaces.
• Apply knowledge of Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) techniques to improve work processes
• Support the business in defining information/data requirements to allow for the design, development, testing, deployment and sustainment of critical business solutions and IT capabilities
• Utilize detailed knowledge of the Air Force Supply Chain to identify critical business processes and the business rules and associated data that supports the development of IT solutions and transformation of legacy systems
• Identify FIAR compliance requirements for future state IT solutions
• Understand project objectives and be able to apply their understanding of how processes relate to operational improvements
• Research, analyze, and assemble numerous sources of information and build concise presentations 
• Possess an understanding of AF and DoD Logistics policy to assess impact and direction of projects and recommend changes to policy to bring about success of projects
• Use multiple sources of policy, logistics system information, and SME input provide high level estimates of the Level of Effort required to complete a project/program
• Must work with and guide AF/A4LR on AF Support Equipment (SE) functional planning, Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) system change requests (SCR) and Strike Team funding process to obtain funding to implement AF DPAS SCRs

• Education:
  • Four (4) year degree or postgraduate degree in engineering, scientific, technical, or business management disciplines
• Required Knowledge/Experience:
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Proficient with MS Office suite of tools, specifically Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel, Visio, ACCESS
  • Excellent team skills in an agile environment
  • Excellent analytical skills
• Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
  • Ten (10+) plus years of Supply Chain work experience in the Air Force, DoD or industry logistics field (supply chain planning/distribution/deployment)
  • Ten (10+) plus years working knowledge of the US Air Force supply chain planning, distribution and deployment fields of expertise
  • Working knowledge of Air Force/DFAS 
  • Agile PMI-PMP, Scrum, or Black/Green Belt Certification

• Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract
• Perform other duties as assigned
