TACG is seeking a Functional Support Expert to support the Air Force Foundation Logistics IT Enterprise System (FLITES), formerly known as the Item Master Logistics Capability Initiative (IMLCI). This candidate will provide the program with the operational expertise in all areas of the software modification development and sustainment life cycle for the AF suite of cataloging and provisioning systems, including the Foundational Logistics IT Enterprise System (FLITES).

This role reports to the Program Manager and is located in Dayton, Ohio. 

• Translate unique Item Master Control System (IMCS) processes during FLITES development 
• Evaluate solution opportunities based on the review of operational program documentation such as statements of work, architecture artifacts, design documents, interface and conversion technical and functional specifications, instruction to operate, infrastructure artifacts, and software documentation view of formal architecture documentation created using standards such as Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) views, and technology (hardware/software)
• Work with Agile principles and methodology
• Support business process transformation, preliminary design, and configuration of different solutions for mission requirements
• Understand interface requirements with other services and agencies, the Stock Control System (SCS) (D035A/C/K/L), Secondary Item Requirements System (D200A), Distribution Standard System (DSS), and Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S) during FLITES development/sustainment
• Accomplish technical reviews and evaluate developer/integrator deliverables for correctness, consistency, and completeness as related to cataloging and provisioning technical requirements and recommend changes as appropriate
• Review documentation and provide assessments and analyses in support of selected planning, implementation, and data analysis activities for FLITES
• Support the planning, scheduling, convening, documenting, and attending technical meetings as required to sustain and modernize FLITES
• Maintain all data and technical support documentation in the applicable project management tools system files, for example, FLITES SharePoint, and ensure integration with the collaborative work environment
• Provide technical input in the development of user, system, and software requirements to include change vehicles, requirement specifications/documents, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
• Provide functional analysis and identify technical constraints for proposed solutions using verification and validation tools and methodologies

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Required Knowledge/Experience:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of functional experience with the Department of Defense (DoD)/AF Cataloging and Provisioning policy, procedures, processes, and the Item Master Control System (IMCS), i.e., the AF suite of cataloging and provisioning systems including the Foundational Logistics IT Enterprise System (FLITES)
