TACG is seeking an experienced Business Analyst. This person will be responsible for the development, documentation, and delivery of customized functional requirements documentation and supporting data requirements. The responsibilities for this role are to identify, research, and support definition of functional, business, and information/data requirements. The Business Analyst will document this information, analysis, findings, and recommendations using various technical reports.


This position reports to the Project Manager and is in Dayton, Ohio.


  • Document the process to create the FRA template and complete the FRA
  • Document the process of uploading FRA to the ACCESS Database
  • Determine requirements based on FRA processes
  • Document the information that is and can be collected in ATAAPS
  • To provide an advisory assessment of what would be required to bridge ATAAPS gaps
  • Identify other possible alternatives for FRA requirements and associated gaps if ATAAPS is not available
  • Support recurring and ad-hoc meetings to report status, communicate issues, etc
  • Database processing/logic and output for documents
  • Determine the logic and output requirements for the ACCESS database.
  • Document JOCAS II requires inputs, processing, and outputs
  • Cross-reference JOCAS II capabilities with ACCESS Database requirements and identify gaps
  • Provide an advisory assessment of what would be required to bridge the JOCAS II gaps
  • Identify other possible alternatives for ACCESS Database requirements and associated gaps
  • Support recurring and ad-hoc meetings to report status, communicate issues, etc.
  • Meet with management, decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues
  • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential problems in the organization's operating systems
  • Prepare and update process and procedure documents


  • Education:
    • Four (4) year degree in IT, Logistics, Business or Management
  • Required Knowledge/Experience:
    • Five (5) years of broad/diverse background and experience in business process improvement/re-engineering, business process modeling, requirements analysis, and/or enterprise architecture
    • Possess an understanding of documentation required from FMO to successfully implement a new system
    • Strong analytic and research capabilities
    • Strong presentation development and delivery and relationship building skills at all levels, including working, managerial and executive
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Preferred Skills and Certifications:
    • Experience in Air Force Security Assistance Cooperation (AFSAC) Directorate / Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes and procedures
    • Experience in Air Force / FMS functional areas of personnel, civpay, and job costing
    • In-depth experience around FMS processes, procedures, and IT systems preferred
    • Five (5) years DoD experience and worked in a numerous AF PMOs
